This bread only takes 18 hours to make, but it needs undivided attention. During the first 6 hours, the makers visit it frequently and knead and fold it and with great care let it rest for 12 hours. Only then will it show its elasticity and you will be able to enjoy it for many days from the day it was made. It contains the whole grain of wheat (endosperm, bran, germ) and is rich in fiber. Its intense taste makes it ideal for breakfast, where it goes very well with real butter and pure honey. Add some walnuts on top and the taste takes off and you have energy for the whole day.
Ingredients: natural whole wheat sourdough. whole wheat flour, water, salt flower.
