Black lentils are rich in protein and fiber, and just half a cup of cooked black lentils contains about 12 grams of protein and 9 grams of fiber, a powerful combination that can keep you well and energetic for much longer than other foods.
Black lentils are extremely delicious, characterized as lentils caviar and their property is that they are digested more easily than classic lentils. They do not need soaking. Wash them and put them in the double amount of salt-free water to boil over low heat for 20-30 minutes depending on how you like it. Take them out and pour oil and salt and eat them. You can also pour in small pieces of tomato, parsley and olives or mix them with other salads such as a green salad.
