Buckwheat flakes are an excellent source of protein.
100 g of buckwheat contains 11-14 g of protein. They are rich in B vitamins, especially riboflavin (B2) and niacin (B3), vitamins E and K, and contain many minerals and trace elements (calcium, iron, magnesium, phosphorus, potassium, zinc, manganese, selenium and copper).
They supply the body with fibre and can be consumed in a vegetable drink of your choice such as almond, coconut, rice or oatmeal or in your yoghurt.
