Organic durum wheat sprouting seeds. Sprouts enjoy a greater amount of nutrients, much easier to be absorbed, compared to the adult plant. Durum wheat may be germinated and used in 2 different ways: after 2-3 days as ‘wheat germ’ or after about 14 days as wheatgrass from which one can extract the popular juice.
To produce wheat germ soak the seeds in water overnight. The following morning place on the sprouting beds. Water 2-3 times a day until complete germination which usually occurs after 2-3 days or when the roots have reached a length of 1-2 cm. To produce wheatgrass the seeds must be placed in soil or a special kit and watered daily until the grass is at least 20 cm tall.
